Incumbent Candidate for 38th District Judge
Life long resident of Michigan; Catholic education – graduate from Regina High school (attended high school full time and college full time while senior in high school); Attended the University of Detroit College majoring in criminal justice.
Participated in the Michigan State overseas program in Tours, France studying French language and culture; Attended the University of Detroit Law School; Participated in the University of Detroit/ London Law program studied international Law and worked for the former Minister of Defense for the British Government under the Margaret Thatcher regime.

Serving as Your Judge (2020–Present)
Since being elected to the 38th District Court in November 2020, Judge Galen has presided over civil suits up to $25,000, criminal misdemeanor cases, felony preliminary examinations, bail decisions, civil infractions, landlord-tenant disputes, small claims, ordinance violations, and land contract forfeitures for the City of Eastpointe.
